In 2015 I switched to FMO because the sustainable responsible mission of FMO appealed to me. Years later, it still appeals to me today. ICT as function is quite generic across the board, so I paid particular attention to the to the culture and positive mission of companies when choosing a new employer. I asked myself: Where can I directly or indirectly contribute to a broader, social goal as an ICT professional?’ At FMO I found the answer. In addition, the hassle-free and streamlined application process made me feel comfortable and welcome.

Are there things we can improve? Yes, for sure, we learn every day and see that we can work even better together between the different teams within the ICT department.
My role as a business analyst is broad. That makes the work very interesting for me. FMO’s financial services are innovative and that requires tailor-made ICT solutions. I work on a project basis and often with suppliers, such as when introducing a new software package.
I analyzed the organizational needs and translated it into the specs for the purchase of a new product. I was directly involved in the entire process, but also in the end result, which was very rewarding! The cooperation with the supplier was very professional, partly because our ICT facilities are already at that level. Working with latest technology is certainly possible here, and I'm glad that there is plenty of room for innovation.
