Who is our customer
The contracting party is EVN Finance Joint Stock Company (“EVNF”). EVNF is a non-bank financial services institution based in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was established on September 1, 2008, and is currently listed on the Hanoi Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange. EVNF provides capital and other financial services to the energy sector as well as corporates, SMEs, and consumers across Vietnam.
What is our funding objective?
The funding objective is to support EVNF in their E&S practises, particularly in high-risk sectors. The E&S risks associated to EVNF operations relate to all IFC PS (1-8) due to both portfolio and contextual risks. This project will provide hands-on assistance on appraisals for two Scope 1 IFC triggered transactions and build the overall E&S capacity of EVNF moving forwards.

A key element of our FMO’s strategy 2030 is being a change agent on environmental, social and governance topics. Through active support to our customers on ESG, together to deliver responsible impact in the societies and the local communities where they operate.
