Who is our customer

The partner for this project is British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution, wholly owned by the UK Government. FMO and BII have selected Agile Governance Platform (AGP), a USA registered Public Benefit Corporation to carry out this project. BII acts as project manager for this project.

What is our funding objective?

FMO is partnering with BII to develop a series of guidance notes tackling some specific governance challenges faced by fund managers and start-up companies across the Venture Capital industry in emerging markets.

Why do we fund this investment?

This project aligns with the Community Engagement component 1(c) of the FMO Ventures Program Technical Assistance Facility, funded by the European Commission and Dutch Government. The objective of this component is to bring together venture capital ecosystem organisations and partners and develop a platform for learning and exchange through targeted practical research and events / workshops.
