Who is our customer
Jungle Ventures IV is a South-East Asia-focused venture capital fund managed by a Singapore-based team. This is a follow-on fund of Jungle Ventures III, in which FMO invested in 2019.
What is our funding objective?
The Fund invests primarily in Series A financing rounds of scalable businesses in Consumer, SME and Global Tech.
Why do we fund this investment?
FMO is investing in Jungle Ventures IV to stimulate entrepreneurship across South-East Asia and support entrepreneurs in scaling up innovative businesses that can contribute to the sustainability of the local economic activity and prevent talent flight.
What is the Environmental and Social categorization rationale?
E&S risk categorization is B, based on the pipeline and investment strategy. The E&S risks are expected to be limited and mainly related to (i) labour issues (ii) data privacy (iii) customer rights and safety, and other risks related to the specific sectors of the investments.
