Who is our customer
Transaction Capital Business Solutions (TCBS, formerly Rand Trust Financiers) is a specialist debtor finance and debtor administration business with a 100 percent focus on SMEs in South Africa. TCBS takes over and collects the full debtor books of its clients and finances/discounts the eligible quality debtor invoices. This unique approach to SME finance makes TCBS able to finance companies which do not generally have access to credit.
What is our funding objective?
Funding will be used to support a set of interventions that collectively aim to enhance the lead to sales ratio, by improving both external communication and internal efficiencies.
Why do we fund this investment?
This project supports TCBS in reaching out and improving their offering to clients, who are small and medium enterprises generally unable to access conventional credit. This approach of improving SME access to finance aligns with FMO's mandate of promoting financial inclusion and economic growth within developing countries.
