Who is our customer
Commercial Leasing and Finance (CLC) is a subsidiary of the LOLC group with a strong focus on MSME financing. CLC‘s main product lines are loans, leases and factoring. The company is supported by an experienced senior management team and an entrepreneurial and strong LOLC group.
What is our funding objective?
Further professionalization of CLC’s organization is a key driver of the next growth phase. In parallel to the syndicated loan transaction, FMO – in partnership with other lenders in the syndicate – supports CLC with a tailored technical assistance (TA) program enabling sustainable growth and inclusive outreach of the organisation.
Why do we fund this investment?
CLC’s services strengthen small businesses and entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka and is an important basis for sustainable economic development and lasting improvement of people’s living conditions in Sri Lanka. Along with FMO’s financial services, the TA program promotes the transfer of knowledge and skills to our client needed to develop itself and accelerate the impact of its activities.
