Who is our customer
Norplats Properties (Proprietary) Limited (Norplats) is a 100% subsidiary of Northam Platinum Limited. Norplats' only activity is to provide home loans, in the form of installment sale agreements, to a maximum number of 426 Northam employees.
What is our funding objective?
In 2011 FMO committed to a ZAR 80mln facility to Norplats. In 2013, FMO committed to another ZAR 11mln in order to finance 46 additional home loans.
Why do we fund this investment?
Through the FMO facility, Norplats is able to provide affordable housing to Northam employees.
