Who is our customer

Promerica Financial Corporation is a regional banking group with subsidiaries in Central America, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Ecuador.

What is our funding objective?

FMO’s funding will mostly be used to strengthen the Tier 1 and Tier 2 capital of PFC’s subsidiaries. The remaining funds will be used by PFC to finance the acquisition of a financial institution in one of the countries where they are active.

Why do we fund this investment?

Promerica Financial Corporation is a long-standing FMO client. Through this transaction FMO contributes to the growth of a locally-owned financial institution, forming part of a locally-owned banking system that positively influences the development of an emerging economy.
