news - Addis Ababa Action Agenda updates development goals

The targets established at the Third International Conference Financing for Development in Addis Ababa replace the millennium development goals. Along with a vision for ending poverty and hunger, eradicating gender inequality and creating a more equitable global system, the agreement also recognises the need to finance these efforts better. Proposals include means of raising development finance, improving international tax co-operation and financing low-carbon and climate resilient development.
