Our selection process has several stages to give you the chance to learn about us, as well as helping us to learn about you.
1. Application
What happens?
Your online application will be reviewed by an FMO Talent Acquisition Officer and Hiring Manager. They will assess your skills and experience to determine a match with the key selection criteria.

When?
The Talent Acquisition team will be in contact with you once they have received your application.
2. Interview Process
What happens?
Our interviews are competency based and conducted by experienced interviewers:
- The first interview will generally be a face to face initial interview with a member of the Talent Acquisition team and hiring manager. This is an in-depth interview and discussion regarding your technical and motivational fit for the role, team and FMO.
- If you are selected for a second round, you will have a face to face interview with team members. This is also your opportunity to ask more detailed questions about the team’s daily activities.
- There is a separate process for manager and directors We will require you to complete either psychometric or skills-based tests. Final stage interviews will be conducted by senior management.

When?
Online or face to face, conducted as soon as practically possible dependent on the candidate and business availability.
3. Pre-Employment Checks
What happens?
Following the interview process, if we progress to the final stage, pre-employment checks are conducted. This includes employment references.
When?
Following finalisation of the interview process.
4. Offer
What happens?
Following pre-employment checks, the offer of employment will be made by the Talent Acquisition Officer.
When?
Following pre-employment checks and once offer has been approved.
5. Screening
What happens?
Once the offer is accepted, you are required to undergo a screening process by our screening partner. This process is designed to check your identity, reliability and integrity.
When?
Once the offer has been accepted.
6. On-Boarding
What Happens?
On your first working day, you will normally attend the Welcome to FMO program. You will be informed about working at FMO; strategy and ambitions; processes and procedures. You will be automatically enrolled on our onboarding curriculum which covers several learning events to introduce you to FMO.
When?
You will receive your welcome program prior to your first working day at FMO.
At all times your designated Talent Acquisition Officer will keep you updated and informed on the recruitment process.
