Who is our customer
FMO participates in the Interact Climate Change Facility, an initiative established by the Development Finance Institutions together with European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Agence Française de Développement. FMO has committed funds to ICCF that are used to finance renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in the private sector in developing countries and emerging markets. Each of the financing parties can propose green projects to be financed by ICCF.
What is our funding objective?
ICCF was established to catalyze funds from our European partners in an efficient manner and with minimal overheads and streamlined approval processes.
Why do we fund this investment?
ICCF has a good fit with FMO's strategy to finance renewable energy projects in emerging markets. The participation in ICCF enables FMO to finance green projects in an efficient manner, and at the same time strengthen the cooperation with its European financing partners.
