Operations Officer - Treasury

Your role

As an Operations Officer, you support the treasury transactions and processes. You also manage all payments and all securities, collateral and cash positions.

The treasury front office executes transactions in different types of instruments in the capital and money markets. This includes funding raised via bonds and commercial paper. Treasury investments in the bank’s liquidity portfolio are also part of this. Hedging instruments such as FX spot, FX forward, interest rate, and cross currency swaps are included too.

Payments and securities settlements can also originate from the investment departments of our development bank. Our investment departments invest in debt-, private equity- and guarantee products.

As an operations officer you will be involved in the following activities:

• Execute payments and settlements timely and accurately
• Confirm and finalize treasury transactions
• Perform collateral management on derivatives transactions
• Reconcile and report positions for follow up actions
• Investigate and solve issues arising in the daily processes. Escalate to the relevant teams

• Gross yearly salary of approximately EUR 46k (including holiday allowance).

We operate in developing markets globally, which is also reflected in an internationally oriented, diverse, and inclusive organization. The Operations department consists of more than fifty dedicated colleagues from many different nationalities and backgrounds. The Operations Treasury team within the department consists of six enthusiastic specialists, which we are now looking to extend to seven.

Your background

We have a small team and a diverse set of tasks. We are looking for someone with a flexible mindset who is a self-starter and willing to learn and adapt.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master's degree and you have clear affinity with working in a financial institution.
• You have an eye for detail, and you continuously want to improve the quality of your work.
• You are a strong team player with good communication skills
