Your role

As an ICT Business Analyst, you actively participate in the everyday management and support activities of the regulatory reporting application (OneSumX).

You will:

  • Perform application management activities.
  • Develop, test and deploy changes to the Regulatory Data interface in Microsoft Visual Studio. This interface generates the input tables for the Wolters Kluwer OneSumX reporting application in a MS SQL database.Update documentation and take care of  version management of the interface queries.
  • Work in close cooperation within a scrum team with IT and Risk colleagues..
  • Participate in IT related control activities.Support the (monthly) production runs of the Regulatory Data interface by making sure that the applied changes work correctly, do not cause regression, and keep the performance within acceptable boundaries.

Your team

The  ICT department oversees the ICT activities within FMO and consists of four teams. Infrastructure, Generic Applications, Product administration & reporting applications and Application Development. All teams work with clear guidance from Enterprise Architecture and Quality & Control.

Your team will be the Product Administration & Reporting Applications team. This team has the responsibility to manage and maintain business applications. These applications service the Back Office, Finance, and Risk department.

You will be working in a Cross Functional, fun, Scrum Agile team, with colleagues from IT and from Risk. 

Your background

Your education:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree and have well-known overall ICT knowledge. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Risk & Credit risk processes, Regulatory Reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are equally important as IT skills.

Your experience:

  • You have 3 years + years of experience in Business Analyst role.
  • You have solid general knowledge and experience in IT, have affinity to work in a IT environment and you have worked as either a Business Analyst, Test Analyst or Developer. You are experienced with DTAP processes, Version Management, and Testing. Preferably you have experience with Data Management processes.
  • You are very experienced in using SQL for analysis purposes or development purposes. You can analyze and improve existing SQL code. You have worked with tools such as MS SQL Server. Preferably you have worked with MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, the Windows Command Line, and GIT Bash.
  • You have solid banking experience, and are familiar with banking terms, credit risk terms and banking processes. Preferably you are familiar with regulatory reporting (e.g. COREP, FINREP, IRRBB, AnaCredit) and the Basel regulations.
  • You are experienced in working in Scrum Agile teams, and with tools for this such as Azure DevOps Boards or JIRA;
  • You have experience translating in requirements engineering. Translating business issues into IT solutions taking several preconditions into account.
  • You have experience in managing and maintaining Risk applications, for example OneSumX for Regulatory Reporting.
  • You have affinity with the technical part of application management and have an automate first mindset.​​​​​​​
  • You know your way around a corporate data warehouse.
