Your role
As part of your role, you will be leading a variety of Data Quality related activities, with focus on processes to improve the quality of FMO’s data such as solving data issues and monitoring data quality, as well as the implementation of initiatives to improve FMO’s data quality management. You will work together with Data Architects, Data Governance Officers and Data Stewards across FMO.
Some of your main activities will include:
- Contribute to the development and ongoing implementation of the bank-wide Data Quality policies, standards, and processes
- Advice on determination of Data Quality controls and rules
- Manage ongoing Data Quality assessment, monitoring and control
- Manage Data Quality issue resolution process
- Report periodically on Data Quality status by means of Data Quality Dashboards
- Identify and promote awareness and training initiatives in Data Quality across FMO to increase the embedding of Data Quality in the day-to-day activities
- Support implementation of Data Quality tooling
- Provide expertise to accelerate Data Quality adoption and maturity
- Act as an ambassador for Data Quality and contribute to build a culture of continuous improvement
Our offer
- Gross yearly salary of between EUR 60K-75K (including holiday allowance and 13th month). Depending on seniority, years of experience and background.

Your team

Your background
- Bachelor’s / Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics, or related field)
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in data, analysis, or data management related roles
- Experience about Data Quality measurement, improvement and reporting is an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL is an advantage
- Experience in financial services is an advantage
Your competencies and skills
- Knowledge of Data Quality Management best practices, Data Quality dimensions and measures is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – able to analyze, interpret, evaluate, and make recommendations based on data
- Effective communication – ability to communicate complex ideas at all levels in the organization
- Influencing, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Teamwork – strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Very good English language skills both written and verbal
