Who is our customer
Soke Degirmencilik Sanayi (Soke) is a Turkish packaged flour producer. Soke was founded in 1963 and has since then become an established brand and a market leader in the Turkish packaged flour market.
What is our funding objective?
After the founder and patriarch passed away in 2011, the family owning Soke decided to sell and a combination of Mediterra Capital Partners and FMO have acquired Soke.
Why do we fund this investment?
FMO has funded the Project because the new shareholders will facilitate Soke to further grow its business while creating more jobs and tax revenues. This coincides with FMO’s strategy to invest in impact by creating jobs in emerging markets.
